HMS Victory Great Cabin Dinner 

I wanted to thank you so much for the lovely fresh flowers for the table on 15th May in the Great Cabin aboard HMS Victory.

It was a knock-out evening in every way and the flowers, which were not overbearing, added to the beauty of the table and were low enough not to get in the way.  Everyone (that I thought would) took a vase full when they left, which was perfect.

I cannot put into words how incredible our experience was with Bonnie. From the very first conversation, everything felt effortless. She understood our vision instantly and somehow managed to turn it into something even more beautiful than we imagined. Every detail, every bloom, every arrangement was absolute perfection.

On the wedding morning, seeing the flowers genuinely took my breath away. It was like she had reached into my head, pulled out the exact aesthetic I’d dreamed of, and then elevated it to a whole new level. The bouquets, the buttonholes, the ceremony flowers, the reception piece, everything looked like it belonged in a magazine.

Wedding - New Place Hotel

Solent stems from our first phone call chat were truly fantastic. Bonnie was so helpful, organised and great at giving suggestions and ideas for flowers for our wedding day. Even when I asked about multiple moves and repurposing of the flowers, Bonnie did not get fazed, she came up with a plan, including thinking about height of the flowers to used.

Bonnie is so hard working and on our wedding day had to work in full on sunshine of a heatwave to create a flower arch for us. It was the most beautiful and amazing flower arch and we got so many lovely comments from our guests and hotel guest about it.

She was also able to salvage some of the flowers from the arch and kindly offered to donate these to Rowans hospice, not only giving them a second chance to be enjoyed but also an opportunity to give back to a worthy charity that had supported our family in the past.

Our bouquets were so beautiful as was our daughter’s flower wand and Bonnie provided paper for blotting off the water, a sign of a truly thoughtful person and florist.

We are so grateful to Bonnie for all that she did for us and we really highly recommend her for your wedding or event flowers.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say a heartfelt thank you for such a stunning arrangement for mums funeral tribute . The flowers really blew us away and contained so many garden favourites of hers , they looked terrific and smelt divine too. We have now divided this arrangement into posies ( it was far too good to leave at the crematorium) and they are now filling our homes with the fragrance and bringing us great comfort.

Mother’s Day

I won a competition which included a bouquet of Mother’s Day flowers from Solent Stems. I picked them up this morning and they are absolutely beautiful! My mum was at my house and could not get over how gorgeous they smelt. The packaging was also really nice. Thank you!

 Alver Valley Garden Centre - Creative Sessions

Yesterday I attended the Pumpkin Arrangement course ably run by Bonnie from Solent Stems at  Alver Valley Garden Centre.

We had such a brilliant afternoon! Bonnie was warm and welcoming and had prepared a lovely range of fresh and artificial materials ready for us to start our projects. There was a very encouraging atmosphere throughout,  with no pressure to work in a particular way and we had all completed very individual pieces by the end of the session.  Bonnie demonstrated each stage clearly for us and welcomed questions. She offered help if needed too.

The 2 hr slot worked perfectly.

Also a shout out to the catering dept who had prepared the pumpkins for us - which saved a lot of effort and time - and the tea and delicious Halloween cakes were very welcome!

I am so pleased with my arrangement and it was a very pleasurable experience. I hope to come back for another session in the future.

We were absolutely amazed by the flower arrangements that Bonnie created for our wedding! From the breathtaking bridal bouquet to the stunning venue decorations, every detail was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. The quality of the flowers was exceptional, and they stayed fresh and gorgeous for many, many days!

Working with Bonnie was such a joy — she was always responsive, always ready to discuss our requests, and early on the venue on the wedding day to take care of all the decorations and the intricacies around them!

I just wanted to say thank you for the service I received from you. I ordered flowers for my uncles funeral and I loved the fact that I was kept informed by email on the progress of my order. I loved the fact that you took a picture of the flowers and sent it to me so I could see what they looked like. My Aunt called to say the flowers were really. So once again I would like to say thank you for the service you provided.

Christmas Wreath Workshop

Me and Mum had a lovely relaxing afternoon at a Christmas Wreath making workshop with Solent Stems, we really enjoyed it and and think we did really well for our first time!!

Just to say a ‘BIG THANKYOU to Solent Stems who at Christmas delivered Two Gorgeous Festive Bouquets to us to Wish us a Merry Christmas. One Bouquet for the Residents, the other for the Staff. Such a kind & thoughtful gesture from a local company to another.
