Solent Stems are floral designers and seasonal flower grower serving Hampshire. Due to our central location we easily venture into Surrey, Dorset, Berkshire and West Sussex.
Bonnie has been working in the horticultural industry for over 30 years. After leaving school Bonnie initially trained for 2 years in Floristry at Sparsholt College in Hampshire and received ‘The Smithers Oasis’ award for the best overall performance on the course. Qualified NVQ 3 & 4.
Later attending Hadlow College in Kent; gaining additional horticultural qualifications, to underpin her knowledge of all things flora; after being inspired by her father’s love of gardening whilst growing up, she has managed and worked in high trading garden centres across Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex.
Deborah is a qualified educator and has been in the creative industry for over 30 years. Deborah mainly liaises with our corporate clients and assists with our weddings and events and our large floral installations.

Working with seasonal flowers, our Solent Flower Patch cutting garden provides the perfect partner for turning your event vision into reality, these are used along with flowers sourced from our trusted local suppliers.
We are fortunate to have space to grow and care for a range of foliage and flowers that will become part of your special occasion.

What we do….
We provide a variety of floral services; from weddings and events, creative workshop and seasonal flower bunches.
We host our own seasonal creative workshops throughout the year and also lead the creative sessions at Alver Valley Garden Centre in Gosport.
If you are planning an event, we can provide beautiful stems for you to curate your own stunning displays. Find out more here.

At the Solent Flower Patch, nature works in harmony! Alongside our beautiful blooms, we have hives of honey bees and care for a number of ex- commercial hens who live out their retirement with us, creating a sustainable ecosystem.
The bees tirelessly pollinate our flowers, while our happy hens contribute nutrient-rich waste to our compost bins. We compost all our green waste, returning it to the soil to enrich our plant beds naturally.
Every flower grown here is nurtured by the love of our animals and our commitment to sustainability.
